Can a President be called in for jury duty?

Yes. In fact, former president George W. Bush reported for jury duty in Dallas on August 5th [1]. He was not picked to serve. Mr. Bush is in good company. Chief Justice John Roberts and Vice President Joe Biden have been called for jury duty as well.



The 35 members of the jury panel all took pictures with the former president during a break [2].
