Gone Girl, a psychological thriller written by Gillian Flynn, is about a man named Nick Dunne who is under suspicion in the disappearance of his wife, Amy. While this may seem rather boring and formulaic, a reviewer for the New York Times, Janet Maslin, describes the book as being rather unique since the narrators have some trouble expressing the truth. It did extremely well, and a movie based on the book was released in the US on October 3, 2014. It starred Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck.
