It is normal for a dog to eat a few green leaves on an occasional basis, but you need to be cautious if your dog is a chronic grass eater. There can be many reasons for such a behavior. Here are some of the major reasons as to why a dog eats grass.

3/ Some dogs develop behavioral issues such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) around grass. These dogs too will get used to grazing on a regular basis. If you notice such behavior of your dog, the best thing is to consult a veterinarian in your area.
