Founding member of the heavy metal band Motorhead, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister received a diagnosis of an extremely aggressive type of cancer on Dec. 26, 2015, and he passed away two days later.  He was at home at the time of his death sitting in front of a video game from The Rainbow. He had just turned 70 on December 24th. 
The bassist/singer suffered from various health problems, including diabetes and heart arrhythmia, in addition to the cancer.  He was also deeply affected by the recent passing of the group's drummer, Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor.
