We've been to Disney World three times in the past four years, and I have not had the opportunity to use Memory Maker. However, I am seriously considering it for our next trip, and here is why:
1. You have access to ride videos and pictures.
This is a new part of the service, but when you purchase Memory Maker, you can get video or pictures of certain rides at Walt Disney World. These include the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Test Track and Rockin' Roller Coaster.
2. You ensure that you get pictures of the entire family.
3. You can utilize "Magic Shots."
At certain locations in the park, a Memory Maker photographer will have you pose a certain way. Later, they add in a character (like Tinkerbell) to the picture to make it special.
However, keep in mind that you will still need to take your own camera, as Memory Maker photographers will not be available at every restaurant or character meet and greet in the parks. In addition, the service is a little pricey; it costs $149 if you purchase the Memory Maker add on before you go on your vacation.
